Bitcoin

It’s hard to not talk about price action and the doomer-ism of the financial system right now, but we don’t do that here. Instead, enjoy these nuggets.

  • Interlay’s V2 DeFi Hub goes live tomorrow. Interlay has built a best-in-class decentralized bridge with their V1 product, now they start to launch products on top of that bridge including swaps, borrow/lend, and more. Keeping an eye on this one.

  • Block’s Bitcoin hardware wallet has a name. Bitkey is what the upcoming open-source hardware wallet is called from the Jack backed team.

Ordinals

The Ordinals inscription hype is not showing signs of slowing

  • It’s been ~50 days and we’ve crossed 500k inscriptions. Here is the inscription that hit exactly on that mark.

  • DeGods launched their super-hyped mint. A 535-piece collection of previously burned DeGods NFT’s from the OG Ethereum collection.

  • Web3 blogging platform Sigle integrates support for Ordinals. Its a super polished writing experience. Highly recommend it, and now you can inscribe your blog post onto Bitcoin. Stored on the ledger forever.

  • Gamma has officially launched its trustless Ordinals marketplace! The Gamma team has been building a Bitcoin-focused marketplace for the last 18 months. The user experience is top-tier. See Ordinals listings. They also just made it free to inscribe individual items, you just pay the Bitcoin network fee. Competition 🔥 up.

  • The following day, Magic Eden dropped their trustless Ordinals marketplace! Back to back 🔥. At the time of writing, They have been live for about 24 hours and are already the largest marketplace by volume and second in number of TX’s. Crazy crazy stats and obviously mega bullish for further Bitcoin adoption!

  • Twitter user and Data wizard Domodata has updated the Ordinals marketplace Dune analytics page to support Magic Eden and Gamma.

Stacks

MOOR Developer tools incoming for those building the future

  • Hiro Systems has launched a new developer platform to make it much easier to create, test and deploy smart contracts all from one location. It’s called Hiro Platform. Check it out if you are a Clarity dev or looking to become one.

  • DeFi project ALEX has been working on a trustless bridge between ETH and Stacks to allow easier flight of your liquid assets back and forth. They just announced access to the whitelist for the incentivized Testnet. Big big big.

Lightning

Are you a Taproot Wizard?

  • Udi and Eric Wall’s Taproot Wizards have been going crazy lately. Over the week they launched the Taproot Wizard School. A way to learn about Bitcoin by completing quests. One of the quests had people actually USE Lightning and they raised $20k for the Human Rights Foundation. 🔥 🔥 🔥

  • Wolf, The Lightning-focused accelerator has announced its first cohort of 8 teams.

Rootstock

The Sovryn Dollar is here!

  • The Sovryn team has launched a new product. A bitcoin-backed stablecoin called $DLLR. This is a great new (hopefully) stablecoin backed in an over-collaterized way with Bitcoin. Tweet | Website

  • rBTC and the RIF token are now listed on FinanceChainge. A cross-chain aggregator DEX to easily swap tokens. Bullish for Bitcoin layers.

Thats it for this week.
Love yall!
